"On my home network, I've got a G4 Cube, an iBook (via an Airport) and a
Quantum SnapServer. On a set schedule, both the Cube and the iBook
automagically back up their files to their own folder on the SnapServer,
then synchronize with a common folder on the SnapServer. This gives me an
almost idiot proof way to keep both of my machines backed up, and in sync. I
can grab my iBook and dash out the door any time, and know I've got all the
stuff I worked on on my Cube! I've used this system all over North America,
via the internet and via Remote Access. It doesn't get any easier than this!" |
